BALTIMORE — Garrett Crochet’s six-year, $170 million extension spanning the 2026-31 seasons is official. The details reflect a significant compromise that was necessary to achieve the deal.
The deal does not include any deferred money. If Crochet opts out of the final year, he’d be leaving roughly $30 million on the table to pursue the open market following his age-31 season.
