UFC President Dana White announced Friday that Islam Makhachev will defend the UFC lightweight title against Renato Moicano at UFC 311 on Saturday

UFC 311 took an unexpected major turn Friday morning, with Arman Tsarukyan withdrawing from his lightweight title fight against Islam Makhachev. A new UFC 311 main event is now set as Renato Moicano will step in to challenge Makhachev for the belt.

Makhachev vs. Moicano will be available through pay-per-view in the US on ESPN+. ESPN+ subscribers can opt to add it on to their monthly plan ( click here to see how ), but note that ESPN+ PPV coverage of the fight only applies to the main card matches that start at 10 p.m. ET and it's a $79.99 add-on to the monthly subscription.
