KILAUEA, Hawai'i (Island News) -- Episode 16 of Kilauea stopped erupting from the south vent on Wednesday, April 2, at approximately 12:03 p.m. after about 36 hours of activity, according to USGS.
No significant changes have been noted along Kilauea’s East Rift Zone or Southwest Rift Zone. The Kilauea volcano alert level remains at watch, and the aviation color code remains at orange.
