Chelsea Green celebrated her title win on WWE SmackDown, and a familiar foe crashed the party. At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Chelsea Green defeated Michin to become the inaugural WWE Women’s United States Championship.

Chelsea Green is gracing Tampa with her presence on Friday night. Green announced on social media that she will be on Friday night’s episode of SmackDown, which takes place at the Amalie Arena in Tampa.

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T issued his first comments on Chelsea Green becoming the first Women's United States Champion in WWE history.

Bully Ray outlined what he hopes WWE and Chelsea Green can do with the Women's US title, and stated that he believes that she can help establish the new title.

On the latest episode of The Hall of Fame Podcast, NXT commentator Booker T spoke about Chelsea Green’s big title win at Saturday Night’s Main Event and said it was well deserved.

SmackDown is taking place from Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida tonight. Along with being the last episode of 2024, this is the final two-hour episode before SmackDown expands to three hours starting next week.

The tournament also consisted of heavy hitters like Bianca Belair, Bayley, Michin, and Naomi. Green first won a triple-threat match against Belair and Blair Davenport. She then defeated Bayley in the semifinal round before beating Michin in the final round.

Chelsea Green has her share of experience wrestling outside the WWE sphere, and that included a forgotten intergender match with WWE's newest recruit.

The last WWE SmackDown of 2024 featured thrilling matches and high-stakes confrontations. Highlights included Chelsea Green's US title celebration, tag team action, and the announcement of a ladder match between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens at the 2025 Royal Rumble.
