An attack targeting Hindu tourists in Indian Kashmir that killed 26 men has triggered new tensions between India and Pakistan and sparked fears of a conflict, with Pakistan saying it has intelligence suggesting India intends to launch military action.

Dozens of Pakistani nationals living in India headed to the main land crossing between India and Pakistan on Wednesday after New Delhi ordered almost all Pakistani citizens to leave the country following last week’s deadly attack in Indian-controlled Kashmir.
