Park City’s Police Chief said next year’s Sundance Film Festival will again include a pedestrian-only Main Street.

After spending 40 years in Utah, the Sundance Film Festival will be relocating to Boulder, Colorado; organizers said the festival had outgrown Park City.

After four decades in the small Utah ski town, the country’s preeminent film festival is packing its bags for Boulder for the 2027 fest and beyond.

The Sundance Film Festival is relocating from Park City, Utah, to Boulder, Colorado, in 2027 after more than 40 years.
