The Pittsburgh Steelers finished another regular season where expectations weren't fully met. With a 10-3 start, the road ahead seemed to be smooth sailing as Russell Wilson was leading Pittsburgh's offense to victories almost each week.

Pittsburgh Steelers star wide receiver George Pickens could be off the team before the 2025 season, according to Steelers insider Gerry Dulac. The off-the-field negatives of Pickens have outweighed many of the positives, and Dulac says it is far from certain that Pickens will be back.

Pickens has caused headaches for the Steelers throughout his first three seasons in the league and also hasn't yet developed into the star that individuals within the organization hoped he'd be.

The Pittsburgh Steelers desperately need to add some juice to their offense in 2025 after what has been another lackluster campaign for the unit in 2024. Knowing that, one NFL analyst believes the Steelers will pull off a trade for a $90 million superstar wide receiver to pair with George Pickens.
