Kendrick Lamar performed at halftime of the Super Bowl. He has 22 Grammys and a Pulitzer. SZA has a few Emmys and co-starred in the surprisingly successful 2025 buddy comedy "One of Them Days." Those two just launched their joint tour this past Saturday in Minneapolis.

Not every artist has the benefit of kicking off a tour while occupying the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100, but the TDE tandem are not like most artists. Not only is their collab track “Luther” in its eighth week atop the chart (its Lamar’s sixth No. 1 on the Hot 100 and SZA’s third), but it follows a long series of wins for both.

After Kendrick Lamar dominated the last 12 months with his strategic rap beef performance, The Pop Out, a full Grammy night sweep, and a historic Super Bowl Halftime performance, there was only one thing left to check off on his list: a tour.
