Al Unser Jr and Mario Andretti were the co-Grand Marshals at the 2025 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach as the race celebrated its 50th Anniversary.

Bryant men's basketball coach Phil Martelli Jr. is a leading candidate for the head coach position at VCU. Martelli led Bryant to a program record 23 wins in just his second season as head coach.
