A fed-up Carlton supporter has slammed the inept performance of his team in hilarious fashion on live radio following the Blues' 20-point defeat at the hands of Hawthorn on Thursday night.

The Tasmanian AFL club unveiled its mascot on Tuesday night and images from the event have got Australians all making the same joke.

"I jovially say, 'I saved the Footscray Football Club because they raised a lot of money from the Up Yours Oakley bumper stickers'," Oakley told AFL.com.au this week ahead of the anniversary game.
