Milwaukee Bucks' Damian Lillard will defend title in NBA all-star three-point contest
ATLANTA – Damian Lillard is once again an all-star player, and the Milwaukee Bucks point guard will pull double-duty for the second straight year as he will defend his three-point contest shooting title on Feb. 15 in San Francisco.

Damian Lillard is looking to join Larry Bird and Craig Hodges in an elite club. And Victor Wembanyama will be showing off some skills at All-Star weekend. Lillard, the Milwaukee guard, was announced Friday as one of the entrants in this year's 3-point contest to be held at All-Star Saturday Night in San Francisco on Feb.
Lillard seeks 3-point three-peat at NBA All-Star event
Milwaukee's Damian Lillard will try to complete a three-peat in next week's NBA All-Star Game 3-point Contest, the league announced Friday, while two French stars seek a Skills Challenge title.Lillard won the 3-point showdown in 2023 while with Portland and last year after joining the Bucks and will try to equal the record three consecutive titles set by Larry Bird in 1986-1988 and matched by Craig Hodges in 1990-92.
If Lillard wins this year's 3-point contest, he will become the first player since Craig Hodges to win the contest three times in a row.
