In conclusion, we can say that while Marvel may not refer to Daredevil: Born Again as the fourth season of the Netflix series, it continues those storylines to the point where you could think of it as a season 4. We have a confirmed time jump and the creative overhaul to bring Daredevil: Born Again in line with what came before it.

It’s a full gallery of characters on display, from a retired (temporarily) Matt Murdoch to a now-mayor, still-violent Kingpin. We also see the return of Foggy and Karen, who were originally cut, and maybe even killed offscreen, when the first draft of this show was written, and eventually thrown out. Thank god.

The other two-thirds of the Daredevil trio — Karen Page and Foggy Nelson — are back, played once again by Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson. Near the end of the trailer, we also get the return of Jon Bernthal’s Punisher.
