NHL leading goal scorer Leon Draisaitl left the Edmonton Oilers’ game against the San Jose Sharks in the second period with an undisclosed injury and didn’t return.

Edmonton Oilers superstar Leon Draisaitl is sidelined once again after suffering a new injury in Thursday's win over the Sharks.

Leon Draisaitl exited midway through the second period after what appeared to be an awkward fall or collision. The forward skated gingerly to the bench before heading straight to the locker room and did not return. The team later confirmed he was ruled out for the remainder of the game with an undisclosed injury.
