Hillsboro Public Schools is continuing it’s quest to make budget cuts. The school board got together on how to move forward on Sunday, January 12.
After budget cuts and declining enrollment, school leaders are asking voters for a 12-mill increase to raise $300K annually for Hillsboro schools.
The district has offered cost of living increases that largely mirror those in Gresham-Barlow, Tigard-Tualatin and Hillsboro: 4% for the first two years of the contract and 4.25% for the third.
