Bayern Munich defender Kim Min-jae is set to miss the next “couple of weeks” with an Achilles injury, Vincent Kompany has confirmed. Speaking ahead of Saturday’s Bundesliga game against Union Berlin, the Bayern head coach explained the 28-year-old centre-back was set for a short spell on the sidelines.

Kim Min-jae's Achilles tendon began to deteriorate following the Bundesliga match against Eintracht Frankfurt last October.
