Chisholm cleared the air on the torpedo bat controversy after the Yankees held their own Home Run Derby against the Brewers

Yankees second baseman Jazz Chisholm is one of those players using that bat, which was built after the team's analytics team found that more hits were coming off just below the barrel so they added more wood in that part of the bat.

The Yankees infielder had himself a huge opening series against the Brewers. He hit three home runs, drove in six with five hits in three games. He was also among the players to use the new bat design, which lowers the sweet spot of the bat to where Chisholm makes his strongest contact.
