Microsoft to kill Office support for Windows 10 this year
Microsoft will stop supporting Office apps on Windows 10 this year. Also it really wants you to upgrade to Windows 11. According to a Microsoft blog post, the company will end support for Microsoft 365 apps on Windows 10 on Oct.
Microsoft to force new Outlook app in Windows 10 with no way to block it
Designed to replace the current Mail and Calendar apps, the new Outlook can only be removed after it's been installed.

Microsoft announced last year that it would be retiring the Windows Mail & Calendar apps in favor of the new Outlook at the end of 2024. As of January 1, these apps are no longer functional and will refuse to send or receive any more emails.
Windows 10 PCs will be forced to install the new Outlook app in February
For several months now, Microsoft has been urging Windows users to switch over to the new Outlook app, with classic Outlook recently getting an official “death date”. Many aren’t happy about this, holding off on jumping ship as long as they can — but the clock is ticking down.
Microsoft Office support in Windows 10 ends in October too - what that really means
Windows 10 isn't the only Microsoft product that is due to lose support this coming October. In a blog post published Wednesday, the software giant said Microsoft 365 apps (aka Office) will no longer be supported in Windows 10 after Oct. 14, 2025. To continue using Microsoft 365 or Office, the company urges users to upgrade to Windows 11.
