TAMPA -- Nikita Kucherov had a goal and two assists to pass 100 points on the season, and the Tampa Bay Lightning defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 6-1 at Amalie Arena on Tuesday.

Kucherov threw his gloves off, dropped his stick and held his mouth as he got to his feet, skated to the Lightning bench and disappeared down the tunnel with assistant athletic trainer Mike Poirier, sending a collective gasp through Amalie Arena.

On Tuesday, the Penguins were outclassed by the Tampa Bay Lightning in a 6-1 rout, pretty much being outplayed after the first few minutes of the game. Pittsburgh registered four of the first five shots on goal, and after that, the Lightning completely took over the game.
