DARLINGTON, Md. — Avian flu fears have forced the temporary closure of certain hiking trails around Conowingo Dam.

Dozens of dead vultures discovered at the Conowingo Dam between Cecil and Harford counties over the weekend are being tested for avian influenza. Nearby trails are closed.
