Police in Denver investigated a reported explosion late Thursday night in a downtown neighborhood. Officers rushed to the scene near 6th Avenue and Sherman Street about 10 p.m. On Friday morning, Police determined the cause of the explosion was a vehicle owner cooking inside the vehicle with a propane tank.

The Denver Police Department told FOX31 that it is responding to an explosion at a fast food restaurant in Denver on Thursday night.

Police are investigating a reported explosion that happened in a Wendy's parking lot near Speer and 6th Avenue. No injuries have been reported.
