The incoming rain has sparked concerns about toxic debris in the burn scar areas. Tom Wait and Nicole Comstock report.

Due to the rain expected this week, protective measures including K-rails and sandbags have been placed near hillsides and around homes to keep the debris and mud from causing catastrophic damage to the homes still standing.

The heaviest rainfall is expected from late Tuesday into early Wednesday, with a slight risk of moderate debris flows in areas impacted by recent fires.
