Coco Gauff claimed her second Grand Slam title this Saturday, overcoming Aryna Sabalenka in three sets. The 21-year-old star became the 5th American player to win multiple major titles this century… the last of whom was Serena Williams in 2002,

Coco Gauff took home her second major title, winning the French Open at Roland Garros stadium after defeating Aryna Sabalenka.

Gauff became the seventh American woman to win Roland Garros in the Open Era. She won her second major following the 2023 U.S. Open, where she also overcame a one-set deficit to beat Sabalenka. Gauff is the second straight American woman to win a major after Madison Keys also defeated Sabalenka in three sets to win the Australian Open.
