Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has signed a new nearly $115 billion state budget into law. Monday's signing ceremony capped a long and combative legislative season marked by GOP infighting.

Gov. Ron DeSantis signed the state's 2025-26 budget after vetoing $567 million in programs and projects tucked in by state lawmakers, leaving a $117.4 billion spending plan for the year beginning July 1.

The $117 billion spending plan includes support for mental health and addiction services, cancer research, maternal and child health, elder care, and veterans’ services.
