In the early hours of Saturday, the people of Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital, were shaken by loud explosions and heavy gunfire. Russian forces launched a new wave of attacks using drones and missiles, forcing many frightened residents to run for cover.

Ukraine’s capital came under a large-scale Russian drone and missile attack overnight and into early Saturday that left at least 15 people injured, according to Ukrainian officials. Explosions and machine gun fire wre heard throughout Kyiv as many sought shelter in subway stations.

It is clear that far stronger pressure must be imposed on Russia to get results and launch real diplomacy,' the Ukrainian President posted.
