Owens was re-booked for an additional charge of open murder with a deadly weapon, kidnapping, first-degree murder, and multiple other charges.

Police identified Dandre Owens as the suspect in the death of a man whose body was found in the desert in east Las Vegas.

The man’s attorney said his client, one of three suspects in the 2021 slaying, was just helping a friend and did not do anything wrong.
