Jun 2, 2018 · Ok, so this character isn't quite fleshed out that much. But, I really enjoy the idea of a cowboy wizard who refers to magic as "hokus pokus". So far, the main build idea I've come up with is 2 artificer (gunsmith, bag of holding or goggles of night), 7 fighter (eldritch knight, close quarters shooter), 11 hexlock (blade pact).

Mar 9, 2020 · It really depends on what part of a cowboy you're trying to emulate. If you want to be horse-riding cow wrangler, a Ranger with a horse companion is probably a decent enough pick. If you want to be the cigarette-smoking vigilante who is quick on the draw an Assassin Rogue with a hand crossbow seems fairly obvious.

Cowboys are tough, gruff, stoic, and get the job done, never staying in one place for too long. They aren't opposed to being with a group, but they try to be self-sufficient regardless of who they're with.
