Jan 5, 2024 · You can apply to both, and that's what many did. The main differences is that rmp is 7 weeks, individual projects, you make your own research paper, presentation, and poster, and you get 2 college courses. sra is 4 weeks, group project, and you get one college course (iirc).

Can you and your family afford $74K/year with little to no financial aid as an OOS student? If yes and if UCSB is your top choice then apply since if you do not, your chances are Zero. UC’s have their own UC GPA calculation which only uses 10-11th grades and only AP/IB classes are weighted in the calculation.

Feb 13, 2010 · <p>UCSB you can just TAG and get in with any major. I don’t really know much about the school; I didn’t apply there.</p> <p>UCLA philosophy is pretty easy. Average GPA is 3.49 if memory serves me right. However, you can’t backdoor, get in, and then switch to an impacted major like Psych. </p> <p>UCB philosophy is also fairly easy.

Which one is better COSMOS vs UCSB RMP vs SRA?
Feb 2, 2024 · They encourage you to apply to both RMP and SRA. So if you apply to both, It won’t hurt your chance getting into RMP. I didn’t apply to RMP because 6-week is too long and too expensive. But it is definitely more selective than SRA. RMP may be better than COSMOS? But of course, you work harder and spend more time and $$$ at RMP.
